Landrover Freelander For Sale 2.0 XEDi

It seems that several TD5 engines have failed due to the Oil Pump Sprocket bolt coming loose or falling out. Having collected statistics via this page about this problem from other owners of Discovery and Defenders TD5's who have also experienced this problem ONLY DUE TO the Oil Pump Sprocket bolt coming loose or falling, BBC Watchdog made a programme about it which went out on 13th April 2004.

In the first instance you should contact Landrover directly, they have been excellant in my dealings with them you should contact the Customer Service Manager - Mr Mike Mulholland at the following address: lradvice@landrover.com or call Tel:08705000500

You can still pass information using the form below if you have had the same problem, this information is now being sent directly to the Irwin Mitchell Solicitors who apeared on the Watchdog program.
